Shabby Joe started out years ago making Shabby Chic furniture. While recycling efforts were evolving, Joe felt he needed to do more. With the abundance of glassware that is all around us, Joe started out selling Glass Art florals in a small little standup rack that held 6 florals. After months of growing glass inventory and devising a way to make even more beautiful florals which would stand the test of time in hot, humid and wet climates, he began receiving astounding support of his efforts. In his first year of making Glass Art, Joe sold over a hundred florals. During the second year sales grew and Joe began naming each floral individually. After his second year, Joe has used over 400 names. Joe now attends Art and Craft Shows in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Michigan.
We are extremely proud of our recent commercial installation at Toast, in Birmingham Michigan. Owners Regan and Thom Bloom commissioned Shabby Joe to design vintage/modern wall floral designs for their restaurant, located at 203 Pierce, in Birmingham Michigan. The photo on the Events tab is the main entrance way to Toast's gourmet restaurant in the city.
